About FightCybercrime.org & ASL Project Goals:
Background & Description of my project

My capstone project is centered on creating clear, compassionate, and easy to use resources for people impacted by cybercrime. Far too often, victims, their families, and even the advocates who support them are left feeling lost in a maze of complicated steps and unfamiliar terms. In these moments, when emotions are already running high, the last thing someone needs is
confusing instructions or information that feels out of reach. This project is designed to fill that gap by offering straightforward guides or resources that meet people where they are, whether they're trying to report a crime, understand what just happened, or find support for the emotional toll that comes from being targeted. It's about giving victims back a sense of control, reassuring them that they are not alone, and helping families and
advocates know how to walk alongside them. At it's heart, my goal is simple, to make the process of seeking support feel less overwhelming and more human. I will achieve this goal by creating resources that are accessible, victim friendly, and practical. I hope that through this project, I am able to provide comfort and
direction in one of the most difficult times that someone can face online.
